PT Grha Bintang Utama successfully completed the Construction of WIM Building BIB in 2025 as part of the development of modern and integrated infrastructure supporting the Weigh In Motion (WIM) system. This project was designed to provide a dedicated operational facility for real-time vehicle monitoring, data processing, traffic supervision, and efficient management of vehicle weighing systems.

The WIM Building serves as a critical component in the implementation of Weigh In Motion technology, which enables vehicles to be weighed automatically while in motion without requiring them to stop. By establishing a dedicated facility to support WIM operations, freight transportation monitoring can be conducted more effectively, efficiently, and sustainably.

The project scope included the construction of an operational building, development of control and monitoring rooms, installation of supporting information technology infrastructure, electrical systems, communication networks, and facilities required for seamless integration with field-installed WIM equipment. All construction activities were carried out in accordance with high-quality engineering standards, operational safety requirements, and future system scalability needs.

As a centralized control and monitoring facility, the WIM Building enables operators to oversee vehicle data in real time, analyze freight traffic patterns, and manage information necessary to support Over Dimension Over Loading (ODOL) enforcement programs. The integrated system also facilitates accurate data collection, storage, and reporting to support informed decision-making and transportation management.

Through this project, PT Grha Bintang Utama demonstrated its capability in delivering comprehensive transportation and infrastructure solutions, ranging from the development of supporting facilities to the implementation of advanced Weigh In Motion technologies.
